Q&A with Head of Communications, Eytan Schwartz

Eytan Schwartz has been serving in senior positions in the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality for the past 14 years. He currently serves as Head of Communications and Media, overseeing a team of 25 media, marketing and advertising experts. Eytan previously served for 4 years as CEO of Tel Aviv Global – an initiative aimed at promoting Tel Aviv as an international center of innovation by leveraging its status as the city with the highest density of startups and technological accelerators in the world, and as a leading urban destination for visitors, conferences, and international students. Monocle Magazine named Eytan among its Dream Team of municipal officials. Eytan resides in Tel Aviv with his wife and three children and has a BA in Anthropology summa cum laude from Columbia University and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University.
